During your session, in my Kotara (Newcastle) studio, we’ll explore your wedding colours, style, and overall vision to create a cohesive and elegant invitation suite. From there, we’ll guide you through every detail, including print methods (digital, metallic, foil, letterpress), paper and card selections, font pairings, and beautiful finishing touches like ribbons and wax seals.

YOUR INVESTMENT
- Your personalised 45 minute custom wedding invitation consultation, is $20, which is credited towards your invitation order.
- Custom designed invitation suites start from $210* (design only) + the cost per invitation set.
- Clients using this service have a starting budget of $800 + for an invitation suite.
Day of stationery items are additional. - If your absolute maximum budget is below this, that’s ok! Everyone is different. You can still have beautiful stationery by purchasing from the SEMI-CUSTOM RANGE directly from the website.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is the consultation worth doing in person?
All of my clients have said that seeing the papers, colour & style combinations available in person, is totally worth it! You get to feel the paper & look at the looks with my clarity. Also knowing that I look after everything from start to finish, makes them feel less stressed about the whole process.

How do I see the concept?
A Semi-Custom Designed Invitation are designs that have already been created by me and are available to purchase from the website.
A Custom Designed Wedding Invitation is based on the vision you have for your wedding. it could be personalised illustration, monogram or specialised printing.
What if I have no idea what I want?
I create an onscreen mockup of your wedding invitation suite so that you can visually how it all looks once complete. We can easily change the colour & style from here before moving to the next step.
How much is a custom designed invitation?
Prices start from $120 for an invitation design. The more you require in your suite (Invitation, Details Card, Envelope, Envelope Liner, etc) the more your investment becomes. My clients will usually invest upwards of $500 for a fully customised wedding suite. (Printing, materials and assembly is not included in this estimate)
What if your out of my budget?
While I can work with budgets of all kinds, it is best for you to do your research to see if I am right for you. Custom designed stationery is more time consuming, therefore a price is allocated to that. Clients generally spend over $800 for a suite.
How long does a custom design take?
A Custom-designed Invitation generally takes 2-3 days to create the concept. From there we make any final tweaks before moving to the artwork proof. It’s best to allow 1-2 weeks for this entire process.
Do you work with couples outside Newcastle?
Absolutely. I design for couples in Newcastle Hunter Valley, North Coast, Central Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, South Australia, Western Australia, Queenelsand. Design consultations can be done online.

What printing do you offer?
I offer a range of printing options including Digital, White Ink, Metallic, Foil, Letterpress and UV Printing
How far in advance should I order wedding invitations?
For Custom Wedding Invitations, it’s recommended to start researching as soon as possible & be ready to order your wedding invitation suite 6-7 months before your wedding.
Can you design matching stationery and signage?
Consistency is key! I can create a complete wedding stationery suite including Save the Dates, Welcome Sign, Table Seating Chart, Table Cards, Menu Cards, Place Cards and so much more!
What if I choose not to proceed with the quote?
No pressure, I wish you the best with your planning. But have a think about why don’t proceed? Is it based on price? Design or something else? Remember that what you receive from me is a stress-fee stationery journey, with years of experience.
